And yet, here you are having a conversation with the entire community of readers on Medium right now.
This is so weird, Tessa. How do you know that we are experts? - And, since you are so decisive in contradicting Addams, Dewey, Freire, and the voice that speaks for them in the present Medium story, how do you know that they are not?

This is all so weirdly inconsistent and contradictory, Tessa. If you do not want to listen to or learn from people who (according to your own secret metrics) might not be experts, then what are you doing here on Medium? Why don’t you stick to reading peer-reviewed academic papers?

And how do we know that you are an “expert” on Addams, Dewey, Freire, and even education in general? And if we cannot be sure of this, then why and how do you expect us to listen to your opinion? Have you even read Pedagogy of the Oppressed? And if not, then for sure it must be the case that lach “expertise” on Freire’s work, then why are you espousing an opinion on the matter?

You sure seem to be living in a strangely fogged and messed-up world of your own, Tessa.

I am looking forward to reading your next peer-reviewed critique of Freire’s work in an academic paper of your choice!

Wishing you kindness, warmth, and the intimacy of appreciative conversations,

FL
