I have been using crafts as a learning design format since the very beginning of my work almost a half century ago. In another Medium piece, I have shared how I use Folding & Cutting as a device for students learning Sanskrit:
In the present piece I offer an example from my business practice: In a large corporate organization in the financial sector, we introduced zero-PowerPoint, non-agenda driven, multisensorial workshops — where bankers and IT engineers can be seen folding and cutting sheets of paper as if they were in Kindergarten.

Here is what we do:
1 Have a table ready with three times as much A4 or A3 sheets as there are participants.
