I know. I have always been somewhat non-conventional. I plead guilty. I am often away on a sidetrack, scouting, and sometimes happily losing my way on unknown grounds, while everyone is still on the main road. And yes, I do tend to side with unpopular viewpoints and unwelcome opinions. The thing is that I love exploring much more than arriving at some pre-defined destination. If the place where we are heading is pre-defined and “known” upfront, chances are that I don't even want to go there anymore.

You might feel attracted to this lifestyle too. But if you do, then wait. If you’re tempted to go that way as well, think again. Coz mine is not an easy path. It’s an overgrown track full of thorny bushes. For instance, when I discuss project proposals with clients, I know exactly where it is that they start looking at me with big frowns all over their foreheads. And I am on the verge of losing their ears and hearts and minds lest I take the time to stop talking and breathe and listen again and let them express their doubts…
